I just found these really cute pictures of - can you guess it? - me and make-up! They were at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on the Disney Fantasy cruise ship. I love getting my hair and make-up done, especially when I get to learn something new to do when I get older. And don't forget, I love doing my own hair and make-up, as well as other people's.

My Mermaid History
I've always loved mermaids! If I had gills, no doubt I would live underwater. So, here's my history....
I got this mermaid costume for Christmas when I was eight. Isn't it cute? |
I feel like a mermaid already! |
On our Disney cruise, I met the real Princess Ariel, an awesome friendship on the way! |
Got this cute mermaid doll in St. Thomas. |
My Ambassador Mermaid dolls from Barbie in A Mermaid Tale 2 |
Got to see mermaids at the circus a couple of years ago -- of course, that was my favorite part of it! |

9th Spa!
For my 9th birthday, I had a Glamour Girl Spa Party. I invited all my friends over and we had my "Aunt Di" do hair and make-up, my mom do nails, and my "Grandma Sharon" do accessories. It was so much fun! I'll show you some pictures of the party. Of course, my favorite part was "Aunt Di's" hair and make-up. Well, I guess you wish you were there (if you are a girl, of course).

Future Career
Okay, did I tell you I was a make-up disaster? Well, I'm really not... that was when I was, like, six. So, when I grow up, I want to do something that has to do with fashion. As in, make-up artist, fashion model, fashion designer, or hairstylist. For right now, I have chosen make-up artist. I really want to do people's nails, their hair, their make-up. It's my lifelong dream!

Finally Mickey
Ever heard of Mickey Mouse? I think you have. On our Disney cruise, I got to meet Mickey! When we were first coming in to Port Canaveral, Mickey was there, and I got to see him. You know what? I was a bit overwhelmed to actually see the real Mickey Mouse. Then, when we got on the ship, I got to really meet him. On semi-formal night, I got my picture with just me and Mickey, and we were both all dressed up. I had a fun time with all the Disney characters, but especially Mickey.

Mermaid Tails
Ever since I was little, I've always loved Barbie. I love to play Barbies because they're so much fun. You can dress them, undress them, arrange their furniture in their house, and make up exciting stories with them. They are absolutely so much fun. My favorite Barbie movie is called "Barbie in A Mermaid Tale 2." I like it because of the Ambassadors. Their names are Renata, Selina, Mirabella, and Kattrin. They are mermaids from all different parts of the world. Renata is from Africa. Selina is from the Arctic. Mirabella is from South America. Kattrin is from Asia. I have all the Ambassador Barbie dolls. They are beautiful. I love Barbie!

A Little Nemo
On our Disney Fantasy cruise, there was a water play area called Nemo's Reef. Sadly, it was for children eight and younger, and I'm nine years old. Bummer, huh?
So, anyway, a couple of weeks ago in science, we were talking about cartilaginous fish (however you say it), which include sharks and stingrays. Christopher said, "Mommy, I already know all about rays. Nemo's teacher was a ray." On our ship, on the other side of Nemo's Reef from this picture was a slide, but it was the ray from Nemo! So, technically I got to slide on Nemo's ray, before a Disney employee told me, "You are too old to be in here." So embarrassing!
